    A motor-controlled flue gas damper is suitable for installation in the exhaust systems for all standard appliances which are fired with oil or natural gas. During standstill periods of the appliance, the damper (flap) automatically closes the exhaust path preventing loss of heat. When the temperature controller needs heat, the electric motor automatically opens the shut-off flap before the burner starts and the program of the burner control unit is enabled.

    • Motorized exhaust damper for gas and oil heating appliances with dry or wet exhaust conditions.
    • Also for gas fireplaces and solid fuel fires.
    • Bypass damper for CHP or economizers.
    • Draft control for all appliances, forced draft or condensing.
      (Not for use as on/off damper for Category II & IV Appliances.)

    Technical specifications

    PurposeThe damper rod is externally turned by an actuator.
    The rod is connected to a damper blade that rotates to restrict exhaust flow.

    0.03” – 0.06” thick ASTM 316L stainless steel housing.
    0.06” thick (14 gauge) ASTM 316L stainless steel blade and stiffener.
    0.06” thick (14 gauge) ASTM 316L blade stop (no seal, metal to metal).
    Connection/Installation DetailsConnection System: KL coupler system.
    Positioning: horizontally or vertically – shaft must remain horizontal.
    Also available for appliances with pilot flame.
